St. Eugene Golf Resort and Casino : ウィキペディア英語版
St. Eugene Golf Resort and Casino

St. Eugene Golf Resort and Casino is a golf course and casino in British Columbia, notable for being a former Indian residential school converted to a Native-owned casino.
The resort is located on plain of the St. Mary's River, between the Rockies and the Purcell Mountains near Cranbrook, British Columbia.
The Kootenay Indian Residential School (composed of the St. Eugene's and St. Mary's schools), operated by the Roman Catholic Church, was opened in 1898 and closed in 1970.
Besides the local Ktunaxa Nation, the resort is unusual in Canada in that it is part-owned by two distant bands, the Samson Cree Nation of Maskwacis, Alberta, and the Chippewas of Rama First Nation, of Rama, Ontario.
